Trying Thermo-injection with our Mold

The heat resistance and structural integrity proved insufficient.

Mold Redesign

The mold was redesigned to combat issues encountered with our first prototype. Printing was attempted with a new filament, which proved problematic.

We opted to change our selected mold material in order to function better for thermo-injection.

Next Steps

We will test algae polyurethane pellet performance in the thermo-injection process.
